Professor Jaafar Elmirghani, co-chair of the IEEE SICT Initiative, delivered a short course focused on "Energy Efficient Data Centres". It was organized by the "clean-IT forum" in collaboration with IEEE. The course has been well attended.

Energy Efficiency Everywhere: Cloud, Fog, Virtualisation, RAN and IoT

At the "IEEE Design of Reliable Communication Networks (DRCN) Conference, which was held in Milan, Jaafar Elmirghani delivered a Keynote talk titled: "Energy Efficiency Everywhere: Cloud, Fog, Virtualisation, RAN and IoT".

Professor Jaafar Elmirghani of the University of Leeds, UK, delivered an informative presentation on March 24, 2021, focused on IEEE Green ICT Standards to over 60 attendees. Jaafar's talk was part of a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Roundtable, organized by the European Commission and concentrated on standardization.
